Responsibilities

  • 100% calling and emailing contacts (outbound & inbound) to schedule meetings for the Account Executive sales team.
  • Uncover, qualify, nurture, and build the sales opportunity pipeline, converting prospects to validated leads.

  • Effectively and independently deliver the Boardroom Insiders value proposition to contacts, generating enough interest to schedule full fit-assessment conversations with our Account Executives.

  • Follow the Boardroom Insiders sales framework to build and manage a high-activity pipeline, within our CRM system.

Qualifications

  • High levels of sales integrity and business acumen
  • Ideally 1+ years' experience in sales or account management OR a Bachelor's Degree and a strong desire to pursue a challenging career in SaaS sales
  • A competitive hunter mentality to find and cultivate new business
  • Experience using sales tools such as CRM software, LinkedIn, etc. is a plus
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Experience with engaging and qualifying leads over the phone and email
  • Strong communication skills
  • Intelligent - fast learner and very capable of articulating value
  • Proven success with monthly and/or quarterly targets

The purpose of the 30/60/90 is to set expectations for the role and to give prospective employees a glimpse into the evolution of the position. Boardroom Insiders is committed to supporting all of our employees in reaching their full growth potential.

In the first 30 days, SDRs will have...

  • Gained an understanding of Boardroom Insiders’ company culture.
  • Met team members, and learned who to go to for certain expertise.
  • Met and created a relationship with their mentor. 
  • Gained an understanding of the roles and the responsibilities of the Sales Development function.
  • Completed required Marketing software orientation (including but not limited to Sequences, Task Management, Lead Management, and Video).  
  • Shadowed Sales and SDR(s) on sales calls to learn Boardroom Insiders’ methodology.
  • Begun to perform job function by formally reaching out to prospects.

In the first 60 days, SDRs will have...

  • Completed any required Marketing software orientation, including Online Support & Lead Generation.
  • Built multiple sales automations and sequence(s), as well as populated their personal Vidyard library. 
  • Worked with Marketing on content development, and aligned with any active campaigns. 
  • Built a pipeline of leads from Lead solution software.
In the first 90 days, SDRs will have...
  • Suggested new proficiencies to the sales development process, to better serve Boardroom Insiders’ customers.  
  • Contributed new ideas and product improvement suggestions to the Sales and Marketing teams. 
  • Worked with their mentor and department head to establish long-term goals for career development at Boardroom Insiders.
