Biographical Summary
Laban is Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Information Services at Philip Morris International, the global tobacco giant that was spun off from Altria in March 2008. Laban has been with the company's Information Services department since 1997, when he was hired as Manager, Information Services, for Holland. He was subsequently assigned to senior IS leadership positions in Japan and Western Europe before being named Director, Information Services, for EEMA in 2007. Laban, who is based in Geneva, Switzerland, assumed his present position with Philip Morris International in 2010.
