Biographical Summary

Brunet since September 2010 has been Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Quality at French carmaker Peugeot SA. He also serves on the company's Executive Committee. Brunet began his career working on a dam construction project in Northern Canada. He was then asked to coordinate the construction and delivery of offshore oil drilling rigs in Asia. He subsequently moved into the area of information systems and technologies, participating in the development and marketing of computer-aided design and decision support systems for McDonnell Douglas Information Systems. In 1988 Brunet began a 13-year career at Ford Motor Company, where he held various positions of increasing responsibility, rising to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ford France. In 2001 Brunet was appointed Chief Operating Officer at AXA, the French insurance company, where he remained until November 2009.
