Biographical Summary
Meloy is EVP, U.S. Onshore Exploration and Production for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, one of the world's largest independent oil and gas exploration and production companies. He joined the company - which is based in The Woodlands, Texas - through its 2006 acquisition of Kerr-McGee Corporation, where over the course of a seven-year career he had risen to Vice President of Exploration and Production. After the sale, Meloy joined Anadarko as Senior Vice President, Deepwater and International Operations, a position he only held for a few months prior to assuming the role of SVP, Worldwide Operations in December 2006. He was named to his current position in 2013. Before joining Kerr-McGee in 1999, Meloy held various positions of increasing responsibility in planning, operations, deepwater, and reservoir engineering positions with Oryx Energy Company and its predecessor, Sun Oil Company.
