Biographical Summary

Deno in May 2012 joined OSI Restaurant Partners LLC, operator of Outback Steakhouse and other retaurant chains, as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He comes to OSI after a nearly 30-year career in the food industry, interrupted by stints at two private-equity firms and a three-year run at consumer electronics chain Best Buy. Deno, who also serves as CFO at OSI parent Bloomin' Brands Inc., replaces Dirk Montgomery, who is transitioning to the new role of Chief Value Chain Officer. Deno is charged with all areas of financial reporting as well as business analytics and strategy. Deno most recently was Best Buy's President for Asia and CFO of its international division. Before joining Best Buy in 2009, he worked with private equity firms CCMP Capital Partners LLC and Obelysk Inc. as well as restaurant chains Burger King, Pizza Hut (while it was owned by PepsiCo) and PepsiCo spinoff Yum! Brands. Deno began his career in 1982 as a Financial Analyst at Pillsbury Company.
