Biographical Summary
Kellens in December 2011 was promoted to Vice President of Strategy, Group Information Management, at BHP Billiton, the world's largest mining company. He had spent the previous year intimately involved with the company's new 1SAP transformation, in which the company is rolling out a single, integrated SAP platform throughout its global operations. Based in Singapore, Kellens has been with BHP Billiton since October 2007, when he joined as Process Architect, Management and Performance Reporting. He previously enjoyed senior IT stints at various tech firms and spent two years managing SAP at KPMG, one of the largest professional services networks in the world. Before joining KPMG in 2000 Kellens spent three years as a Manager at Optimum Solutions, which KPMG acquired in September 2011.
