Former EVP and General Manager, HP Enterprise Services, Hewlett Packard Company
Biographical Summary
Visentin in August 2011 was promoted to Executive Vice President of HP Enterprise Services and charged with driving growth in HP's Enterprise Services division, which delivers technology infrastructure, applications and business services. But his time in the position was short; in August 2012, HP announced Visentin was leaving the company to pursue other interests. Visentin, who previously led HP Enterprise Services for the Americas, had only been with HP since January 2011; his hire sparked an unsuccessful lawsuit from his previous employer, IBM, over a non-compete clause in his contract. Visentin had held several senior executive positions at IBM. Most recently, from 2007 until his resignation in January 2011, he was General Manager of IBM's Integrated Technology Services (ITS) business segment. Visentin has spent nearly 30 years in the information technology industry and has extensive experience in managing multibillion-dollar business units, sales enablement and brand recognition in the IT services industry.
