Biographical Summary

David DeSonier is a bit of an anomaly as one of the few geophysicists currently serving in a leadership role for a major diversified manufacturer. After beginning his career as an exploration geophysicist for Atlantic Richfield (ARCO), he spent the next two decades moving through a dizzying array of corporate positions for the company. That experience gave him a wide foundation of business experience to complement his undergraduate training. He further supplemented his skill set with an MBA and a designation as a Certified Management Accountant. All of this experience has ably prepared DeSonier for his latest role in directing strategy and investor relations for Leggett & Platt.
