Biographical Summary
Labry has been with First Data and its predecessor, Concord EFS, for an impressive nearly 30 year career. He joined Concord in 1984, and over the years evolved the company beyond payment services for retailers into network services for financial institutions. He engineered three strategic acquisitions that propelled Concord to the forefront of the ATM and debit card industry. In 2011 he was named the President of First Data's North American market, which contributes over 85 percent of First Data's consolidated revenue. Labry says, "Helping drive our customers' success is the ultimate goal of First Data. Our strategic view of the payments industry, our ability to offer the full spectrum of industry-leading services and the expertise of our dedicated employees all play a role in achieving that success." He was named Interim CEO of the Company in 2013, serving a dual role as both president of Retail and Alliance Services and Interim CEO from January to April. In April the board named Frank Bisignano (formerly of JPMorgan) permanent CEO and Labry is continuing in his role as president of Retail and Alliance Services.
