Biographical Summary
Thomas Bowler has been with United Technologies Corporation (UTC) his entire career. Joining the company in 1979, he has spent most of his tenure with the Pratt & Whitney business unit. He also gained international experience when he headed HR for another UTC business unit, refrigeration giant Carrier Corporation, in its Asia-Pacific division. He was elevated to his current position, SVP Human Resources and Organization, in December 2007, succeeding the retiring William L. Bucknall. In August 2012, Bowler announced plans to step down in 2013.
