Biographical Summary
Montana native Peter Van Helden began his career with Albertsons in 1978 as a clerk. Over the next 20 years, he held many positions in store operations including store director, district manager and division vice-president. He joined SUPERVALU through the Company's 2006 acquisition of Albertsons and served as the Executive Vice President of Retail Operations until 2011. In 2013 he resurfaced as the President and COO of Stater Bros. Markets, a supermarket chain based in Southern California. In his free time, Van Helden is a volunteer pilot for Angel Flight Central.
