Biographical Summary
Turkish native Ersek isresponsible for all of Western Union's business units around the world, as well the company's operations and marketing functions. In addition, he serves as Chairman of Western Union International Bank. He is based at Western Union's global headquarters in Englewood, Colorado and has been with the company since 1999. Prior to coming to Western Union he worked all over Europe for GE Capital and Europay/Mastercard. Ersek will take over the CEO position from current CEO Christina Gold, who will retire in September 2010.
