Biographical Summary
Denton, appointed CVS Caremark's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective January 2010, has nearly 20 years of financial management experience, with a focus on the healthcare and retail drug sectors. Since joining the company in 1999, he has assumed positions of increasing responsibility, including senior finance positions within CVS/pharmacy and CVS Caremark as well as the role of Chief Financial Officer for PharmaCare, a subsidiary of CVS. The selection of Denton as EVP and CFO capped an eight-month search that included both internal and external candidates. He replaced the retiring David Rickard.
