John D. Hayes

Hayes spent much of his career on the agency side, working for such venerable and global shops as Saatchi & Saatchi, Ammirati & Puris and Lowe & Partners. Today he is responsible for brand marketing for American Express worldwide. He joined the organization in 1995, and has been the force behind iconic campaigns such as "My life. My card." and has supported over 200 product launches, including the coveted Centurion black card. He is also the brains behind the phenomenal success of OPEN, the American Express Small Business Network, and Blue from American Express. In addition, Hayes inspires and educates employees worldwide about the American Express brand and promise.
