Biographical Summary
Bhagat has held executive positions on both the agency and the client sides. She held executive positions at J Walter Thompson and was the CMO of Macromedia before landing at Intel in 2005. In recent years, Bhagat has re-oriented her team to focus on integrated marketing to ensure Intel is speaking in one voice; has shifted 50% of her advertising budget online; and launched a massive brand campaign, positioning Intel as the "Sponsors of Tomorrow." It was a risky move, given Intel's successful and longstanding "Intel Inside" positioning, but Bhagat and team were determined that Intel be better known "on the outside" by having a strong standalone brand.
