Biographical Summary

Agadi came to the United States from India in 1984 to get his MBA from Duke University. He joined Kraft Foods then went to work for PepsiCo's Pizza Hut brand, where he developed a taste for the fast food industry. He has been instrumental in exporting some of the biggest fast food brands to dozens of countries–including his native India. He came to Friendly's in August 2010 and resigned from the company in early 2012, one month after the restaurant chain emerged from federal bankruptcy protection. He said he has "personal commitments that require more of my time" but he remains on the company's board. He is now Executive Chairman of Quiznos Corporation.
