Biographical Summary

VanGelder was appointed Chief Information Officer and Corporate Vice President of Eastman Kodak Company in January 2004, charged with the management and allocation of the company's IT resources. In 2007, she was also given the responsibility to lead a set of initiatives focused on the transformation of key business processes across the company. In 2011, she assumed the additional role of Director, Worldwide Customer Operations, and given still more responsibility for driving a more customer-centric, streamlined, and information-enabled operation. VanGelder has spent most of her career at Eastman Kodak, having joined the struggling company in 1984 as an intern. After going fulltime in 1986, she steadily worked her way up the ranks, holding various positions of steadily increasing responsibility, including Director of the Global ERP Competency Center and Director of Information Technology for Kodak's Research and Development Organization. VanGelder is now working with other members of Eastman Kodak's executive management team on weaning the company off its legacy film and camera business and targeting the commercial and consumer printing business market.
