Biographical Summary

Often described as "colorful and easy-going," Dietz spent nearly 20 years with Procter & Gamble before arriving at Safeway in 2008. She joined the marketing department at P&G in 1989 and became director of its Oral Health Care division in 2000, helping resurrect the company's Crest brand and extending it into new product areas like whitening strips. At Safeway, she has led the charge into organic private label products.
