Biographical Summary
Diller is a legend in entertainment and business. A college dropout, he started out in the proverbial mail room of the William Morris Agency, worked his way up through the ranks of ABC, and held top executive positions at Paramount, Twentieth Century Fox, QVC and Home Shopping Network. Today his InterActive Corp. serves as an umbrella for a portfolio of diverse businesses including Match.com (online dating), LendingTree (home financing) and Ticketmaster (event tickets). Diller enjoys poker, hiking and biking and is married to his longtime friend, fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg. In December 2010, Diller announcedhe was stepping down as CEO of IAC and would be replaced by Greg Blatt, the former CEO of Match.com. Diller will stay on as chairman and "senior executive." He still owns more than a third of IAC's stock, the largest voting stake of any shareholder.
