Biographical Summary

Though Burke has spent nearly his entire career at Consolidated Edison, he managed to find the time to earn three advanced degrees: one in engineering, one in business policy and one in law. While he says all three have been valuable, he thinks of himself as an engineer first and foremost. Consolidated Edison is one of the nation's largest investor-owned, energy-delivery companies, with approximately $13 billion in annual revenues and $40 billion in assets. The Company provides a wide range of energy-related products and services to its customers, and Burke was named its CEO in 2005.
