A longtime Tulsa resident, Adelson moved to New York City after college to start a career at Shearson Lehman Brothers. But he ultimately returned to his roots and the family business, moving back to Tulsa and taking a position at Nadel and Gussman, a privately-held oil and gas company founded by his grandfather in 1935. Adelson is involved in many Tulsa-based civic organizations and is actively involved in youth sports.
