Head, Marketing and Sales, Something Digital
Nerisah Baksh only recently took on her current assignment as Head, Marketing and Sales for Something Digital (SD), a New York City-based technology "boutique" and interactive agency. This marks a new type of leadership role for Baksh who has spent the past several years on the consulting side, honing her skills helping companies to develop and implement digital and social media initiatives. Prior to starting her new position in June 2013, Baksh worked as a Marketing Associate for GLO Science LLC & Jonathan B. Levine & Associates, an aesthetic dental practice. In that role, Baksh provided press kits to bloggers, vloggers, editors and celebrities to increase brand awareness while collaborating with the Director of Marketing on digital and social media initiatives. Before that, she spent time as a Marketing/Social Media Consultant developing, managing and monitoring online marketing campaigns for B2B and B2C companies and nonprofit organizations. Founded in 1999, SD has about 30 employees but is growing rapidly. It offers three distinct practice groups - Interactive Design, Software, and IT Services.
