Vice President, Corporate Communications, and Head of D23, The Walt Disney Company
Clark is Vice President, Corporate Communications, for The Walt Disney Company, the Burbank, California-based media conglomerate whose holdings range from the Walt Disney Studios movie studio and the ABC television network to the Disneyland and Walt Disney World theme parks. Clark also is Head of D23, the official Disney fan club. Clark joined Disney while still in college, taking a job as an Attractions Host at Disneyland in 1992. After graduating from college he took a job with a PR company but a short time later, in the spring of 1997, was recruited by Walt Disney Feature Animation to work in the Communications Department - just several months before the release of Hercules. "That was my first full-time job at Disney, and I’ll never forget how in awe I was to be working there – the coolness of getting to walk into that building every day was never lost on me," Clark recalled. Clark subsequently held various positions of increasing responsibility, ultimately rising to his present position and assuming responsibility for the newly launched D23 in March 2009.
