Our Story: "Nobody Wants to Do What We Do"

Boardroom Insiders was born out of a simple request. A Fortune 100 technology company was hosting a customer golf event and wanted in-depth profiles of the executives who would be attending. With all of the information resources and tools on the market, we thought it would be an easy, "cut-and-paste" assignment.

We couldn't have been more wrong.

We learned that while online information products do a great job with some things, executive profiling is not one of them. A thorough executive profile requires many hours of research into personal biographical details and analysis of current business initiatives and challenges. It requires skilled human researchers and cannot be automated or aggregated. In fact, this mission-critical work is often delegated to trusted executive support staff, who already have more than enough on their plates. Our own data shows that most of this type of work is done on the weekends, which means someone is giving up precious personal and family time to get the job done.

As one veteran researcher told us recently, "Nobody wants to do what you do."

Fortunately, we love what we do, which is save you time and money–and make you smarter–by telling you what's important to executive-level decision makers.
